A group of researchers from Spain published an important Tensiomyography publication in Nature Scientific Reports

The aim was to determine the effect of changing pulse duration and electrode size on muscle contractile properties. The authors suggested stimulus pulse duration of 1ms together with a 5 × 5cm electrode is necessary to reach a reliable and reproducible assessment.
